Eat the World DXB

My husband and I love food festivals, especially when they happen around the cold months of the year in Dubai! You can spend hours and hours and can never get bored. Eat the World DXB took place from Feb 23rd to Feb 25th at the Burj Park in the Downtown, one of the iconic locations in Dubai. It’s a beautiful park next to the Dubai Mall with views of the majestic Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain.

The timings of the festival were Thursday 17.00-23.00 / Friday 12.00-23.00/ Saturday 12.00-23.00 and the ticket price was 40dhms (advance booking) and 50dhms at the entrance. I liked that each ticket included a bottle of Fiji water. I got a chance to visit the festival on Friday. The festival was very well organized with a variety of food from desserts to the Burg-Khalifa burgers. It was a street food truck event and 25 international street food stars participated serving food in ambulances, ice-cream trucks and vans.

He explained how a 2 meal day is a simple and most effective method of Intermittent Fasting. You can get more details on

Coming towards the main part “food”. My husband is a big big fan of chicken wings and hot dogs, so he quickly went around and found this place Wingsters. They were serving extremely delish hot Buffalo Wings with Hitman Sauce and fries. Loved them. I would give one extra point for the gloves they gave with the wings!

I am a big fan of fried chicken so I got my hands on The Other Side truck and tried their spicy Buffalo Fried Chicken Burger which was oozing with mozzarella cheese, a well fried chicken fillet with pickles and sauces.

Lastly, I tried the HipPops ice cream which were basically the ice lollipops made from the home made ice cream. Each ice cream was for 20 dhm. You can choose a gelato, your favorite dip from the three kinds of premium chocolate dips and almost 12 kinds of toppings. My favorite was the Hazelnut gelato with dark chocolate dip along with the topping of chocolate sprinkles, crushed pecans and hazelnuts. Extremely worth the price.

I throughly enjoyed the food festival and can’t wait to go again!
